Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005065519A1] The invention relates to a crockery basket (1) for a dishwasher machine, said basket comprising a supply pipe (2) for a spray arm that is rotatably mounted beneath the basket (1). A branch pipe (3) is arranged in the region of the supply pipe, for an intensive washing zone (4) in the region of the crockery basket (1). Said intensive washing zone (4) preferably consists of rod-shaped guiding elements (5, 6) that are provided with outlet nozzles (7), fixed to the bars (8) of the basket (1), and connected to the branch pipe (3) by means of a T-piece (10). A guiding element (5) and/or (6) co-operates with an actuator (11) in such a way that the intensive rinsing zone (4) can be switched on or off as required. To this end, in a first form of embodiment, the intensive rinsing zone (4) is preferably arranged beneath a pivotable mug support (1.1) and is actuated (4) by the pivoting of the mug support (1.1).
