[origin: WO2005072965A1] The invention relates to devices which are used to adjust contact pressure exerted on an adjacent rotating body (12, 13, 14, 16, 17) by means of a roller (4, 06, 07, 08, 09, 11) in a roller strip (N11, N12, N21, N31, N32; N41, N42, N51, 52, N61, N62) and/or for arranging the roller on the rotating body and/or for disconnecting the roller (04, 06, 07, 08, 09, 11) from the rotational body. The roller is mounted with the ends (18) of the axis thereof, respectively, in a roller lock (21) comprising several actuators (22) which act upon the roller. The actuators are impinged upon by a pressure means (41) which can be controlled in the pressure level (42). The actuators and, preferably, also the roller lock have an identification characteristic (m, n), such that for a selected roller lock, the contact pressure of a control unit, which can be actuated from a distance, exerted on the adjacent rotating body can be adjusted by means of the actuators thereof due to the influence of the pressure level (42).
