Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2861483A1] The method involves cutting an integrated circuit from a tape carrying multiple integrated circuits. Each circuit defines contact pads of universal serial bus (USB) format connected to electronic components. Thickness of circuit is adjusted in one step to the level of the pads to give a thickness conforming to USB standard. The adjustment is made using an envelope comprising a lower half-shell (66) under the pads. The lower shell is embedded in an upper half-shell (67) covering a zone except the pads. An independent claim is also included for an electronic universal serial bus key.
