The core has an axial blind housing (30A) that extends on a part of a length of the core. An end of the shaft engages in the housing, and the core has a drum (31) of large diameter, a drum (32) of small diameter, and an upset (33) formed at junction between the drums. An independent claim is also included for a circuit breaker of a battery of an electric installation embarked on a vehicle.
