Abstract (en)
The spray can has a container (1) that has a dome area (2) formed on its upper part. A spray nozzle (3) with discharge opening is arranged on the dome area, and connected to a valve arranged in the dome area. A spray cap (4) is fixed to the dome area with an actuator (5), such that the actuator is directly coupled to the spray nozzle to set the spray nozzle in operating position and non-operating position. When in operating position, the discharge opening of the spray nozzle is opened for releasing e.g. spray paint from the container. When in non-operating position, the discharge opening of the spray nozzle is covered by the spray cap. An independent claim is included for the spray cap.
