[origin: EP1710376A2] The cylinder has a core movable into housing, and a locking mechanism for locking or releasing the core. A drive mechanism (6) moves a locking bolt (7) from locking position to releasing position. A closure channel inserts a key (20) for controlling the locking mechanism. A control unit stays in connection with the locking bolt, and is pre-stressed by a spring unit for pulling the bolt from release position into locking position.
