Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1710788A1] The method involves extracting and separating original excitation and articulation parameters using a vocal apparatus identification block. The original excitation is restored from issued elements of an altered elocution and issued elements of a healthy elocution by a glottal wave restoring block. The elocution is reconstructed from the parameters and the restored original excitation by a vocal apparatus in order to produce an acoustic signal representing the reconstructed elocution. An independent claim is also included for a device for restoring an altered elocution.
