[origin: WO2005075310A1] The invention relates to a closing clip (200, 300, 400) which is used to close tubular or bag-shaped, shirred packaging material comprising two limbs (110, 112, 210, 212, 310, 312, 410, 412) which are connected in a fixed manner to a clip plane (122, 222, 422) and are connected by a connecting section (114, 214, 314). The closing clip is made of a material billet which comprises a cross-sectional profile (230) provided with lateral profile edges defining the width of the cross-sectional profile. One profile edge comprises a recess (252, 254, 352, 354, 454) and the other profile edge comprises a projection (232, 234, 332, 334, 432). The projection and the recess can engage in each other when the closing clip is in a closed state.
