Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005075727A1] The invention relates to a bearing for the door (1) of a laundry processing machine, in particular, an industrial tumble drier, comprising at least one bearing block (4) which is arranged on the front of the housing (2) and which is used to receive the hinge pin (8) which is arranged on the door (1), a door safety switch (7) which is associated with the door (1) in the bearing region, switching means which interrupt the electric power supply of the laundry processing machine including all or individual components thereof when the door is open (1). The bearing comprises a door safety switch (7) which is mounted inside the bearing block (4) in order to arrange the safety switch in an easy to install manner and in a dust protected region. The switching means actuating the door safety switch (7) are embodied as a step-type switch driver (11) on the front side of the hinge pin (8) which actuates the switch contact (12) on the door safety switch (7) when the hinge pin (8) is rotated.
