Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005071192A1] The invention relates to a clip fixing element for the assembly of fixture devices such as socket wrench locks, swivel lever locks (10), hinge parts (80, 82), handles, holding cleat for doorstops or latches in openings (12, 14) in a thin wall (16, 50), comprising a head part (24) that is to be arranged on the outer side (18) of the thin wall (16) and which covers the outer edge (20) of the opening, a trunk part (26, 28, 30, 32) that penetrates the opening in assembled state departing from said head part and retaining elements (36) which yield against the force of a spring projecting from said trunk part in the direction of its outer surface, wherein the free ends of the retaining elements have a slanted surface (38) for providing backlash-free support of the trunk part on the border or edge (40) of the opening of the other inner side (42) of the thin wall (16), wherein the trunk part (26, 28, 30,32), the retaining element (36) and the spring producing the spring force are separate parts.
