[origin: EP1712271A2] A system for accurate dispensing of homogenized viscous materials has the material drawn from a reservoir (2) by a main pump (5) and passed to a homogenizer (6) and to a dispensing duct (11), with excess material returned to the reservoir. A pressure monitor (14) between the pump outlet and the homogenizer inlet is linked to a pump control to ensure a set positive pressure into the homogenizer and thereby prevent cavitation. The reservoir can additionally be fitted with a stirrer (3).
