Abstract (en)
The printing unit has several press units (11-14) and an impression cylinder (23) for each. A formed cylinder (15-18) bearing has several printing images arranged next to each other in an axial direction. Each printing image corresponds to a single color printed image applied to a printing material. The printing images on one of the cylinders are offset circumferentially with respect to each other so that deviations in the circumferential register between the single-color printed images applied by the respective press units are compensated for.
