Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1712357A2] The suction device includes a suction head (1) made of elastomeric material, for providing a sheet bearing surface (2). Suction cavities (3) on the suction head attract the back edge of the sheet onto the sheet bearing surface. The suction head is pivotable via a joint (4) so that it can tilt about a tilt axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the turning drum. The tilting range (S) is limited by a stop (5) which cooperates with the suction head.
