Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1712359A2] The device has at least one pressing roller (19) that can be applied to the print cylinder (20) with working cylinders (2-13), which is attached to a support (1) arranged in the frame of the printing machine. The support is in the form of a profile with channels (25, 30-33) in the longitudinal direction of the support with a flow connection to pressure chambers (28,29) of the working cylinder and can be supplied with a pressure medium. An independent claim is also included for a method of pressing a covering into the printing element cylinder of a rotary printing press.
