Abstract (en)

A length feed and sealing point (3) apply a longitudinal seam (17) between front (7) and rear (8) sides of a bag (9). A turning arrangement (26) operates the continuous printed length (6) from front and rear sides set with a clearance from an uncoiling point (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a bag machine for sealing on four edges with an uncoiling point for holding a roll of continuous printed length for the front and rear sides of a bag.
