Abstract (en)
The device (100) has a mechanism (3, 4), with a folding mechanism (5) and with a packaging supply mechanism (9). An article (1) in a packaging supply direction is positioned about a centrically packaging unit (2). The retaining mechanism and the article and the folding mechanism are arranged relative to each other. The retaining mechanism moves through with the article and packaging unit by the folding mechanism. The retaining mechanism and or the folding mechanism are moved out in order to evade following packaging units. An independent claim is included for a method.
