[origin: EP1712501A2] The device has a casing (2) with a path control surface (2a) and at least one porous coating transmissive to gas to form a supporting film between the control surface and the moving fibrous material (3). The casing consists of inner and outer coatings (4,5), whereby the outer coating (5) consists of a porous material transmissive to gas with a resistance against the pressurized gas flowing through it and the inner coating (4) has stabilizing properties and a number of through openings (13) connected to at least one pressure chamber (7) for the pressurized gas.
