[origin: EP1712768A2] The method involves providing a control quantity which specifies the fuel injection quantity in the engine, based on the operating parameters. A corrector (140) provides correction values (K) for correcting the control quantity based on the value which characterizes the cylinder pressure. The value is measured by a sensor using the temperature, revolution speed and/or fuel injection quantity of the engine. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling the fuel metering in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine.
