Abstract (en)
A compressed gas airgun has a gas cartridge charge and with control valve elements to set the gas charge and pressure applied to the projectiles. This enables the manufacturer to easily set the weapon to comply with regulations for different customers. The settings are changed simply by replacing one or two valve elements. The gas charge is applied to the projectile by an impulse control. The slugs are held in a revolver magazine with shaped fingers on the loading side to hold the slugs and with an outer O-ring to further secure the magazine. The magazine holds a range of slug lengths without the front ends of the slugs protruding from the magazine.
