Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005074860A1] The invention relates to a medical transfer device which is used to conduct a fluid from a container to a bottle (58) which is provided with a neck, the neck thereof being provided with a closing element which can be pierced by means of a needle. The device comprises a first tubular-shaped part (2) which can be displaced in a telescopic manner in a second tubular-shaped part (4) between an inserted position and an extracted position. A holding part (14) which is connected thereto is arranged in the inside of the first tubular-shaped part (2), and from said holding part, a cannula (18) extends into the inside of the second tubular-shaped part (4) without axially overlapping into said extracted position. The cannula (18) comprises a lateral opening which is arranged on the distal end thereof. A conical-shaped receiving element (26), which is used to connect means for the detachable and sealed connection of conical-shaped receiving elements with the container comprising the liquid, is connected to the inside of the cannula (18) in the holding part (14). The tubular-shaped parts (2, 4) can be detachably locked by means of locking tongues (62) which can be indented in the extracted position in such a manner that the tip of the cannula (18) is located inside the tubular-shaped part (2, 4), such that there is no risk of injury. The penetration depth of the tip of the cannula (18) in the bottle (58) can be determined due to mutual rotation of the tubular-shaped parts (2, 4). The construction of the device is simple and, in practice, is easy to use.
