[origin: WO2005075225A1] The invention relates to a device for connecting a window pane (4) to the adjusting mechanism of a window lifter in a motor vehicle, particularly a driver, comprising a base body (1) and a clamping element (2) with opposite-lying clamping surfaces (26) used to clamp the window pane (4) arranged between the clamping surfaces. The base body (1) is provided with bearing areas (11) upon which adjacent outer surfaces (20, 27) of the clamping element (2) rest, when the window pane is clamped.
