[origin: WO2005077808A2] The invention relates to a device for actuating and locking elevator doors comprising runners (14, 15) that cooperate with shaft door driving rolls (109, 110). An actuator (100) is provided which is retained on a car door (104x, 104b) and encompasses a bolt (20) and an actuating lever (1) that is controlled by a door drive unit (105), the bolt (20) and the actuating lever (1) both being biased counter to a specific position. In order to allow for a structurally simple solution, a spring (7) is provided which is effectively connected to and biases the actuating lever (1) and the bolt (20).
