[origin: WO2005078175A1] The aim of the invention is to simplify the construction and production of drawing assemblies in spinning machines. To achieve this, the bearing housings (7) of at least the bottom rolls (1, 2 and 3) of the drawing assembly are retained in a profiled section (11), which comprises recesses for the bearing housings (10) that are located at a given fixed mutual distance. There is thus no need for adjustable carriages that hold the bearing housings (7). The profiled section (11) can be configured from a sheet metal U-section that is open on the underside, or as a drawn or rolled section that is open on the underside or has the form of a box.
