[origin: FR2866429A1] A new chemical trapping system for detecting a class of molecules (A), comprising fluorescent material (I) which can form a charge transfer complex with (A) and detectors for variation in the fluorescence of the material, additionally contains a filter comprising a polymer (II) having molecular imprint cavities having a defined geometric and chemical configuration for fixing (A). An independent claim is included for a corresponding detection method involving: (1) trapping (A) in (II); (2) desorbing (A) using a secondary gas flow; (3) forming a complex of (A) with (I), by circulating the gas flow charged with (A) through (I); and (4) measuring the variation in fluorescence between (I) and the (I)-(A) complex.
