Abstract (en)
The rod (1) to hold a suspended hammock (2) has grooves (3) cut near the free ends (4) to take the hammock cords (5) and the support cords (6) to a center suspension point (7). An additional pair of grooves, equidistant from the free rod ends, take the hammock cords in a different position to alter the shape of the hammock fabric (9).
