Abstract (en)
The spring with adjustable flexibility is used as a bed spring or in end mountings for flexible bed slats. It has an upper section (3) which acts as a mattress support and a lower support section (2). These are linked by an oval spring (4). The lower section is U-shaped and the top ends (6) of its arms can engage with lugs (7) on the underside of the upper section to lock it.
