Abstract (en)
In apparatus for cold treatment of a wire rod loop lying on a roller passage using a directed air blast stream, with a vertical air blast shaft (BLS) closable by a lid and a base plate below (and spaced from) the roller passage and filling the shaft cross-section, the base plate consists of a plate or multiple partial plates (LLE I, LLE II), which are tiltably or slidably constructed and can be brought into an open or closed position for the air blast stream.
