Abstract (en)
The method involves unwinding a preset length of a web material from a supply roller, accommodating in a storage unit (2) and removing processed material from a storage unit (4) when a work station is operating. The units are arranged before and behind the station, respectively. The material is supplied from the unit (2) to the station, removed from the station and accommodated in the unit (4) when the station is not operating. An independent claim is also included for a packing machine, which is formed for synchronized intermittent transport of web material.
