Abstract (en)
In a flat-bed knitting machine thread guide (1), which is longitudinally displaced along a guide rail by a guide carrier on the machine sliding carriage and has a guide arm (4) reversibly movable from the working position into non-operative position(s) and back by the carrier, the arm can be brought back into the working position by the carrier in a direction of carriage movement the same as or opposite to that in which it is brought into the non-operative position(s).
