Abstract (en)
The system has two exhaust gas line strands, where components such as catalyzer and turbocharger are arranged in the gas line strands. The components are switchably and detachably arranged over check valves. A pressure pipe (22) is connected downstream or upstream of the valves or directly at the check valves. The pressure pipe stops the exhaust gas leakage within the locked gas line strands by the leakage of the check valves.

Die Erfindung betrifft u.a. ein Abgasabführungssystem für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit mindestens zwei Abgasleitungssträngen (10, 12), wobei in mindestens einem Abgasleitungsstrang Bauteile, wie z.B. Katalysatoren, Abgasturbolader o.ä. angeordnet sind, die über Sperrventile (14, 14', 26) zu- und abschaltbar sind. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass stromab oder stromauf des Sperrventils (14) oder direkt am Sperrventil (14') eine Druckquelle angeschlossen ist, die durch Undichtigkeiten des Sperrventils (14, 14', 26) hervorgerufene Abgas-Leckagen innerhalb des abgesperrten Abgasleitungsstranges (10) unterbindet.
