Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005063538A1] The invention relates to a method for regulating a brake pressure in at least two wheel brakes, which are preferably mounted on a vehicle axle, during a braking action on a roadway having a non-homogeneous coefficient of friction. Said method is characterized in that a side having a low coefficient of friction and/or a side having a high coefficient of friction is/are detected, a stability index representing a driving condition of the vehicle is formed, said stability index is evaluated based on the side having a low coefficient of friction and/or the side having a high coefficient of friction, and the brake pressure is modified in at least one wheel brake in accordance with the stability index value as well as a result of the evaluation of the stability index based on the side having a low coefficient of friction and/or the side having a high coefficient of friction. The invention further relates to a device that is suitable for carrying out said method.
