[origin: WO2005078221A1] The invention relates to a housing (1, 3, 4) for receiving a cable drum of an adjustment device for a motor vehicle, said drum comprising an envelope surface provided with guiding means for a tractive means encircling the cable drum. The housing comprises a bearing point (2) for the rotatable positioning of the cable drum, a wall (85) which encompasses the cable drum along the envelope surface thereof, when the cable drum is mounted in the housing, and a fixing element (15) arranged in the region of the wall of the housing and used to fix a tractive means extending along the envelope surface of a cable drum to be mounted in the housing. According to the invention, the fixing element (5) is elastically embodied and can be displaced by deformation in the radial direction (r) in relation to the bearing point (2).
