Abstract (en)
Each of the spring elements (2) is assembled of an upper (3) and a lower part (4) as well as of two elastic lateral parts (5) yielding under the weight of the user. A vertical pin (9) is positioned inside each of the elements (2), connected with its lower end to an elastic rope (7). The rope (7) is guided through loops (8) arranged along the frame and pushes the pin (9) back into its prior position when the weight is lifted. The rigidity of the springs (2) can be adjusted by shortening or extending the rope (7).
