Abstract (en)
The present invention provides a childcare apparatus in which a movable portion can reciprocate smoothly on a holding portion, and which enables the restriction occurrence of noise. Also the present invention provides a childcare apparatus which can prevent a carrying load from the movable portion from being applied directly to the holding portion during the stop of the movable portion, and in which the movable portion will not move inadvertently regardless of the operator's intention. The former childcare apparatus comprises a holding portion 20 which has rotatable rollers 21 provided thereon and can be optionally fixed, and a movable portion 30 which is mounted on the holding portion 20 and is adapted to support a seat 11a and a back portion 11b, The movable portion 30 has curved rails 31 each adapted to abut each corresponding roller 21 of the holding portion 20. Thus, the movable portion 30 slides on the holding portion 20. The latter childcare apparatus comprises a holding portion 20 provided above legs 13; a movable portion 30 which is substantially horizontally mounted on the holding portion 20 such that it can reciprocate on the holding portion 20, and is provided below a childcare apparatus body 11, and has mating members 32 at its bottom portion; and a locking portion 40. The locking portion 40 is provided on the holding portion 20, and includes engagement members 41 each adapted to engage with and lift each corresponding mating member 32; an operational lever 42; and link mechanisms 45 each arranged between each engagement member 41 and the operational lever 42. In this apparatus, horizontal movement of the operational lever 42 causes vertical movement of each engagement member 41 via each corresponding link mechanism 45.
