Abstract (en)

A boot lining (101) has a slidable pressing surface (114) pressed against a sanding belt (5), and a lining carrier (111) of non-metallic or cellulose material such as timber, cotton, or polymer. The timber used may be selected from medium- or high-density fiberboard or other fiber-based material. The lining also forms an impact receiving surface slanted with respect to the pressing surface at an angle of 110 to 130 degrees, and a flexible slide layer (113). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing a boot lining; (2) a use of a material for a boot lining; and (3) a boot.
