[origin: EP1716976A2] A tiltable permanent magnet, provided on one side of a suction body (16), is moved between an operating position and an outside position relative to a magnetically operable stop valve by a rocker lever (56) turned about an axis (52). The magnet is closer to the stop valve at the operating position compared to the outside position. In addition, the suction body has a suction area adjoined to a lower surface and close by the permanent magnet. An independent claim is also included for a vacuum clamping system.
