[origin: EP1717032A1] A printing unit includes a pneumatic cylinder (1), color printing cylinders (4-6), a pair of lubricant pipes (8), and a detergent pipe (7). The lubricant pipes spray lubricant such as oil or water into some of the printing cylinders, aside from moistening the same cylinders with detergent sprayed from the detergent pipe. An independent claim is also included for a printing method.
