Abstract (en)
A separate throttle element (39) with adjustable throttle openings (41) is arranged into a cavity (47) formed between the convex suction face wall (35) and a concave compression face wall (37) in a wing-like blade airfoil (29). The throttle element facilitates coolant (51) flow between adjacent cavities or from within the cavity to the outside. A support rib (38) preferably with a connection channel is arranged in the cavity and in parallel to the throttle element. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a use of a turbine blade; and (2) a manufacturing method of a turbine blade.
