Abstract (en)
The active controller designed to compensate for vibrations generated by an I.C. engine fuel injector nozzle-holder actuator (1) consists of a second actuator (3) mounted on top of the first and generating forces in opposite phase to the vibrations. The second actuator, mounted the opposite way round to the first, is controlled by the same means as the first and has a system (4) for generating a mechanical resistance to the second actuator equivalent to that met by the first. The two actuators can be piezoelectric or electromagnetic and are controlled by an identical electrical current.
