[origin: EP1717514A1] The device has a start-sequence control system (10) controlling changing of an operating condition of the device from an output into a target operating condition. The system controls a speed adjusting device to adjust a combustion air speed at an output speed corresponding to the output condition and to continuously change speed of an output speed at a target speed corresponding to the target operating condition over a predetermined period. The system controls a fuel gas valve (4) for changing of fuel gas supply at a target-fuel gas supply corresponding to the target operating condition. An independent claim is also included for a method of changing an operating condition of a gas burner device from an output operating condition into a target operating condition between two power levels with the gas burner device.
