Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005077858A1] The aim of the invention is to produce a structural element, which can withstand corrosive and/or abrasive hot gas flows and in addition to having the aforementioned properties, can be advantageously produced. To achieve this: the structural element comprises a fibre-ceramic base body; the base body is configured from a C/C moulded body, which has a structure that has been reacted with Si to form C/C-SiC in a volume region that adjoins an upper face of the base body; and a ceramic hard material layer, created by plasma injection, is applied at least to part of a sub-region of the upper face of the base body.
