[origin: WO2005083192A1] The invention relates to a building element (1) for suspended ceilings (18), comprising a panel element (6) with a first surface (24) and a second surface (25), in which panel element (6) a hole (8) is formed, which is defined by a hole wall (9) and extended from the first to the second surface (24, 25). The building element (1) is characterised by a ceiling component (7) arranged in said hole (8) and comprising a supporting means (10), which is arranged to abut against said first surface (24), a portion (12), which is arranged in said hole (8) without making contact with the hole wall (9), and a guide means (11), which is arranged to cooperate with said hole wall (9) to put said portion (12) in position in relation to the hole wall (9) to provide a predefined circumferential gap (13) between the portion (12) and the hole wall (9), the guide means (11) being arranged between the supporting means (10) and the portion (12).
