[origin: WO2005054756A1] The invention relates to a plate-shaped heating apparatus (1) and a molded part (50) for a continuous flow heater, and a pressure-proof and temperature-resistant continuous flow heater (100). The plate-shaped heating apparatus (1) for a continuous flow heater (100) for fluids comprises a duct (16) and a heat exchanging element (3) that is provided with an essentially planar central area (4) on which an electrical heating element (2) is arranged. The duct (16) surrounds the central area (4) and is used for accommodating a wall section (55) of a molded part (50) in order to fix the heating apparatus (1) to the molded part (50). A duct wall (19) is also provided which is formed by a series of axially extending brackets (20) that are used for receiving connecting means located in the wall section (55) of the molded part (50).
