Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005083388A1] The invention relates to a method for analysing a tissue sample taken from a patient, whereof genomic and/or proteomic and/or epigenomic and/or biophysical properties thereof are essentially obtained, on diseased tissue parts, wherein cuts are made from the tissue sample in the usual manner, which are subjected to at least one histologically cytological and at least one additional non-morphological analysis. The invention is characterised in that at least the quantitative part of the diseased tissue and/or the diseased cells and/or another morphological aspect in the tissue sample is determined, during the histologically-cytological examination, by means of an image processing system, and at least the determined quantitative part and/or another morphological aspect is produced as the reference variable of the evaluation of the results of the non-morphological analysis.
