[origin: EP1719589A1] A pair of scissors (B) includes two scissor elements (10,20) and a pivotal device. Each scissor element (10) or (20) includes a countersink (11) or (21) extending from a first side thereof through a second side thereof. The pivotal device includes a screw (30) and a nut (40). The screw (30) includes a threaded shank (31) and enlarged head (32). The nut (40) includes a shank (41) and an enlarged head (42), with a screw hole (43) extending through the shank (41) and the enlarged head (42) of the nut (40). The nut (40) is received in the countersink (11) or (21) of one of the scissor elements (10,20), with the shank (41) of the nut (40) extending into the countersink (11) or (21) of the other scissor element (10) or (20). The threaded shank (31) of the screw (30) is engaged with the screw hole (43) of the nut (40).
