[origin: EP1719725A2] The clamp head comprises numerous radially slidably mounted clamping jaws (10) that are supported on a curved track surface. There is a central carrier hub (7) with a central bore and a curved outer surface (11) on which the clamping jaws are supported. There may be a glide cylinder (12) as a support element in the clamping jaws. Each clamping jaw may have two glide cylinders.
