Abstract (en)
The seal (10) seals between a rigid first element (14) and a movable second element (16) operating with a provided fissure (12). The second element has a cylindrical sealing ring seat (22) in which a seal ring (24) is located. The seal ring seat has a main section (26) and a neighbouring section (28) with a reduced diameter. The seal ring has a main body (30) and a pre-seal (32). The seal ring seat main section has an inner diameter (34) that has at least a heat transfer coefficient-compensation mass greater than the outer diameter (36) of the sealing main body. The seal ring pre-seal is sealed against the cylindrical seal ring neighbouring section.
