[origin: WO2005072577A1] The invention relates to a coffee machine comprising a drawer (22) that can be essentially horizontally inserted into the coffee machine (10) in order to supply a coffee pad contained in said drawer. The aim of the invention is to ensure that the coffee pad does not adhere to the upper part (34) of the brew chamber when the drawer (22) is pulled out. To this end, when the drawer (22) is pushed in, the coffee pad is pushed vertically upwards towards the brew chamber, and the upper part (34) of the brew chamber is provided with a pressure device (36, 38) that presses the coffee pad essentially horizontally downwards into the drawer (22) in order to prevent the coffee pad from adhering to the upper part (34) of the brew chamber.
