[origin: EP1721536A1] Ventilation system has the shoe, which has a buffer layer (1) of partially flexible material over the outer sole or the insole. The buffer layer has a cushion (12) formed in a hollow space in unloaded condition, whose upper side (9) in each case possess an air inlet openings (3) and in each case lower side or side wall possess air outlet openings. The sum of the surface of the air inlet opening of a cushion is larger than the sum of the air outlet opening of the cushion. The air outlet openings open out into the air channels of the outer sole.
