Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to foundry cores and a method for manufacturing the same. Particularly, the present invention relates to a hollow foundry core (1) comprising a plurality of half-cores (1a, 1b, 1c) being assembled by means of sealing elements (4a, 4b, 4c) for providing a core (1), said half-cores (1a, 1b, 1c) and said sealing elements (4a, 4b, 4c) being provided with a pressed mixture of sand and a binder.
